Hello
Does anyone have manuals or any material that guides and show how to install a SAP Central Instance on LINUX?
The version of SAP is 4.7.
Regards
Release 4.7 is pretty older one, if you want I would suggest to go with latest one which was released last.

Nick Loy

Thanks for your answer I've found four options (listed below) but I'd like to know wich of the four below do I choose according with my system. How do I check wich one is the correct?
SAP R/3 Enterprise Core 4.70 / Ext. Set 2.00 (SR1)
SAP R/3 Enterprise Core 4.70 / Ext. Set 2.00
SAP R/3 Enterprise Core 4.70 / Ext. Set 1.10 (SR1)
SAP R/3 Enterprise Core 4.70 / Ext. Set 1.10
Hi,
Difference between a version and version SR1 is that - with SR1 DVDs you will get the system patched upto a respective Support Package right after installation. In essence, the SP is a part of the installation. So always better to go for a SR1 installation.
Difference between Extension Sets 1.1 and 2.0 is - additional functionality is delivered with the extension set 2.0. For eg. support yard management, cross-docking, VAS etc. So if you do not have a hard constraint from a functionality perspective, it would be best to go with Extension Set 2.0. However I believe you should discuss this with your functional team as they would give a better analysis.

Srikishan
