BEX Re-usuable Structure for Free Characteristics

Hi there,

I am looking for a way to create a Re-usuable Structure for Free Characteristics similar to structure for key figures and the results row and columns. This would be so useful to create consistency and reduce time to add.remove free chars from dozens of queries. The requirement is to have a standard template of free characteristics.

We are using BEX Query Designer, web analyzer in portal on BI 7.01 SP2 and I have pulled out what little hair I have left, so sincerely appreciate any tips to accomplish or confirming that this cannot be done
