Planner Profile

Hi All,

I have created a planner profile for planning with WBS element. These are the steps that I have followed.

1. Defined a planner profile

2. General Controlling: I have used Planning area "WBS elements: Cost element/acty inputs"

3. Defined Layout for Controlling

4. Default Parameters. This is where I have a problem the screen comes with blank variables.

What is it that I have ommitted? As I have struggled with creating variants in the PS Planning Cost Element/Activity Input Layouts. I think I also did something wrong in here.

Hi All,

I have found how to link the local vairables and now my default parameters is no longer blank. I easily just flagged the variable indicator.

Now I am still cracking the excel sheet as it is not showing.

Hi All,

I am sitting with a challenge now as I can find the excel upload functionality under EXTRAS in the selection menu, the challenge is this message "A later upload is not possible with this layout" once I am trying to save the file description. Please assist how do I go about solving this issue.

Hi,

Search the wiki section of SDN. Under the PLM category ini the PS section there is a topic that explains excel based cost planning. I hope that is what you require.
