Show fields in the shopping cart screen

Hello all, I am working in SRM 7.0 and I need that in the shopping cart screen (basic data) system show another fields that don´t appears now, for example, field tracking number doesn´t appear but I can see it in /SAPSRM/WDC_DODC_SC_I_BD web dynpro.

Can anybody help me?

Hi Rosa,

The hiding and enabling of fields are possible from the SPRO settings. UnderSRM Server->Cross-Application Basic Settings->Extensions and Field Control (Personalization)->Configure Field Control

Here you can maintain fields at header, Item and substructure level. There are also some dynamic classes which could be used or enhanced in order to hide some UI elements based on some condition.

Hello Cruiser, is there some field to add text at header level in the shopping cart? I need other than Approval notes that I can send information to ERP system.

Hello. I activated the field but it appears as dissable, I can´t put any information in the field.

Hello Rosa,

If you defined a new text, be sure this text is defined as editable in your text schema assigned to your transaction type.

I configured it:

Extensions and field control - Configure field control - configure control for fields on item level

Here I have an entrie for field BE_TRACKING_NO with field visible and field enabled marked.

Hello Rosa,

Fields can be managed using three possibilities:

1- WDC configuration,

2- Metadata,

3- enhancement.

Check each of them.
