Runtime WSDL and design-time WSDL '' are inconsistent

We are consuming TIBCO web services in WDJ.

The application is working fine on the dev and test portals but when we are testing the same application in Quality server we are getting following exception

com.sap.tc.webdynpro.model.webservice.exception.WSModelRuntimeException: Cannot create instance of model class for model model class name 'ServiceRequest' as this model class name does not exist in runtime metadata. Probably runtime WSDL and design-time WSDL '' are inconsistent.

Can anyone please tell any possible cause for the problem and a solution for it.

Thanks

Naresh

Hi Naresh,

This is an cache related issue more relevant to the WDJ forums rather than the SOA forum, I see you've already tried there though.

I'll try & assist as best I can. I seem to remember seeing this error a couple of times before without a solid solution. It has something to do with the cache not being refreshed, it keeps referring to old metadata. It also seems that bouncing the Java application server helps (try it).

You could also perhaps refer to SAP Note 1310216 and point 6 for the official way (which is bouncing as I previously mentioned) to resolve the metadata cache reset and it also mentions a potential workaround with no guarantee.
