Inactive BOM Attached to the Activity

Hi,

I have two problems as under:

1) While attaching Material & BOM to the Activity then it doen't check if the BOM is marked with Inactive, Deletion Flag. No Message, Warning or Error is displaying.

2) While attaching Material & BOM (say Alternative 2) then at the time of MRP run (MD51) which Alternative BOM system will consider? Whether Alternative 2 as assigned or As per the BOM explosion rule ?

We don't use Production Version.

if you are using production version, then it will be considered based on the production version.
