Hello Friends
I'm a newbie to BO tools & i would like to know how to view webi reports in different locales on mobile devices. AFAIK in BI 4.0 its known we have a tool called Translation Management Tool which takes care of translation . I have tried this for Crystal Reports but not sure in case of Webi will work out or not .
Could anyone help me here how to proceed further.
Regards,
R. Rajesh
Hi,
BO has a tool called Translation Manager.Instead of
having to create a report for each language, its content will be translated and
he document will be displayed in the reader’s language.
It translates universe or a Web Intelligence documents for a multilingual
audience.
• Defines the metadata language parts of the document and the appropriate
translation. It generates external XLIFF format and imports XLIFF files to
get translated information.
• Lists the universe or Web Intelligence document structure to be translated.
• Lets you translate the metadata through the interface.
• Lets you translate the metadata using external translation tools by
exporting and importing XLIFF files.
• Creates a multilingual document where several languages can be saved.
