PO DOC TYPE RESTRICTION FOR MATERIAL TYPE

Dear Consultants,

We are having PO document type for Raw material purchase i.e RMP.

We want to restrict procurement from this PO document only for raw material (material type ROH)

Please provide your inputs for above.

Not Possible in Std. SAP.

Use BAdi ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST

In the standard settings you can default document type through personal setting,You can also default buyer code,material group along with document type as well through personal settings.Or else consult it with developer if document type can be picked by material types through User exit or BADI application.

There is no standard way to restrict the PO document type for Material type. Please explore the user exit option.
