Not possible to cancel the "Material is configurable" indicator

Hi every one....

un expectedly I have checked the material master Basic Data2 view of a particular material and found that "material is configurable is ticked" for semi finished goods which the material is already existed without ticking of this check box in BOM and ROUTING also. But now im trying to change (to un tick that check box and saving it) it showing error like Not possible to cancel the "Material is configurable" indicator.

Can you Please help me to un check this check box without any effects in BOM and ROUTING. Its very urgent requirement.
