How to setup approvers for different countries/regions.

Hi,

Need answer for this question very urgently. I am new to this module and facing difficulties to answer client.

Client is asking to verify "Please be sure that we have the Sourcing/Procurement approvers set up for Latin America and Europe and are ready for them to begin using CLM" for different users.

Kindly any one guide me how to verify this. I guess we can verify by checking security profiles assigned to users. Please let me know if i am wrong.

Hi

Approval is a document level right and not a class level security profile. Approvers can be managed using master agreement and contract document templates.

Based on the limited information provided by you, I can suggest the following steps:

1.You need to finalize the CLM approval process for Latin America and Europe if they are using seperate contract approval processes for the two countries.

2.Based on the process create seperate XPDL workflows.

3. Based on the approval matrix and contract phases finalized as part of CLM approval process, you can create two different contract document phase definition and attach it to contract Document types.

4. Create seperate contract document templates each with one contract Document types.

5. Also based on the approval matrix, create two master agreement templates with different collaborators assigned which can be used to draft Latin America and Europe master agreements

6. While creating contract choose the right contract document template.

Thanks a lot for your answer.

Here i need to set only regional directory approvers not entire approval process for different countries.

I want to set up one user as regional director approver for inderct contracts globally not country wise.and different users for direct contracts for different countries/regions. Hope i have given enough information. They have already set in my system by some other person and i am new to this module so need to know how did he set like that and need to set like that for different countries.

This is very critical and need to answer client as soon as possible.
