Copycontrol error

I couldnt copy the item categories of order(TAP) "tap is the project item" to billing through copycontrol.

When i am doing order to invoice i am getting an error:" doc 399 does not contain any items with open quantities".

Hi

As per standard SAP, Item Category TAP has setting for Delivery Related Billing. So waht are your settings for Order Related Billing? Kindly give further details.

My requirement is order related billing for TAP. So i have activated F2 in my sales doc type(PROR). While i am doing order to billing(no delivery), i am getting error like " Document 412 does not contain any items with open quantities".

I have activated Pricing in TAP controls as "X"(Standard Pricing. So that the pricing is carried out for my material.

What is the Billing Relevance for Item Cat. TAP in VOV7?

Also check the Document Flow of your Order.

Billing relevance is (I) Order-relevant billing - billing plan. My requirement is for Milestone billing.

Hi

For Milestone Billing Plan the standard Item Category is TAO and not TAP, so either copy the TAO and use it, or use the standard Item Category TAO.

Check whether you have maintained the configuration for Milestone Billing, and the relevant data in Sales Order --> Line Item --> Billing Tab.

Sir,

I have used TAO for milestone billing. It is sucessfully working. After that when doing order to billing(order related billing) i am facing an error like "incorrect" in billing doc(Document 416 does not contain any items with open quantities). \

Can i do any modifications for copy controls for TAO.
