Hi,

Any business process, if it cannot be handled in standard SAP, is considered as a GAP. However, sometimes, it can be managed with little modifications in the product.

To say there is a gap, we need to understand the business process and understand SAP then check if it cannot be managed with the existing functionalities of the Product.

Kind Regards

Hi,

GAP analysis in CO depends on the client current environment and Cost & management system:

e.g. Currently client is not able to trace the cost at Cost Element/Cost center level, or client is calculating the cost of the product in MS excel, Client is not able to identify the Product/Customer level Gross Profit, etc. You have to study the AS IS processes and design CO-CEA, CCA, PC, COPA, PCA, etc.
