Navigating within a view set using linktourl

I have a T Viewset where i want to populate my left view with links from database and when i click the link i want that page to be opened in the right view .

How can i do it as I am new to the technology I am not much accustomed to this GUI so please be clear in giving the explanation please .

And thanks a lot for all the service that you r providing with this site.

    Hi,

    on your left view create LinkToAction elements, create corresponding actions in that view, bind the actions with the link's action property. On the right hand view area, add all the possible views you want to show as a result of click on the links. Add outbound plugs from the lft view to each of the right views. On the actions of left view fire the corresponding outbound plugs.

    That should serve your purpose.

    Hi

    You can create a Tree Node on the Left frame which displays the links from your database as Nodes and SubNodes. On the other view in your viewset store a IFrame UI Element.

    The IFrame has a property called "Source". Bind this property to a context attribute(say str) of type string.

    On select of the TreeNodeElement (Which is a link in your case) set the Context attribute of the property source with the url link.

    This should serve your purpose.
