Description issue

HI Guys,

In one of report my info-object have 30 Length (Char) , source field also 30 length output populted gud in masterdata level.

But when i create a report that info-object showing 3 characters (Ex : XXX), i want complete description what my info-obj have

in the report.

Hi Srikanth,

Check if the descriptions are maintained or not?

right click on the info object and check the properties Display as --> here if its standard try to change it to long text so that you wont miss the description.

Check in the Characteristics properties business explorer tab --> BEx description --it might be short description by default --> change it to long description if possible or else can follow the above steps.

Hi ,

Info-object setting is gud, long desc for (Bex rep), i am geeting the problem in report only.master data level it is populating correct.

Are you facing this issue for all the data or only for few records?

If facing the issue for only few records check in the master data is maintainted or not?

What is the info object ?
