No Order to be created when Committed Qty is zero

Hi Gurus,

We have implemented ATP check while STO creation , therefore delivery only gets created when committed qty is zero.

However, the customer desires no store orders to be created when the committed qty is zero.

Can you please suggest the various possible approach for the same?

Regards,

Hi,

There seems to be some misunderstanding. I want to create Stock Transport Order and not Sales order.

In MM we do have configurations to maintain mandatory fields, but "committed quantity" field is not given in the option.

Is there any User Exit or BADI that can be used for ME21N/22N?? or any other way?

Hi,

E.g. in VL01N, initial screen of delivery, the delivery quantity = 0 and you do not want to create a delivery; this can be configured in 0VLP, delivery item category, field "Check quantity 0" = A or B etc.

Hi,

Please understand that I dont' want Store Orders to be created when committed quantity is zero.

Delivery not to be created in such a scenario is already implemented.

Hi,

If my assumption is Correct like If qty is Zero you don't want to save the Sale order if yes

Please maintain the In completion log then system won't allow to save the sale order

If i am wrong please clarify what do u want exactly

Thank you for the clarification.

In VOV8 for your sales doc type, activate field "Incomplete message". By this, if the sales order is incomplete then you shall not be able to save it (create a #).

In sales order, VA01, if you do not give any Order quantity; then you get incompletion log. Thus this is already in std settings.

Pardon me for not answering your question! Maybe you could post this query in MM forum too.
