Hello Paresh,

if you had installed the Web AS 6.30 Java only, then you can connect to the server only via HTTP at Port 50000. It is a J2EE Server. You don't need a SAP GUI.

Hello Paresh,

in the Download Area (https://www.sdn.sap.com/sdn/downloadarea.sdn) the text at the Download says: "Web Application Server Java 6.40 with MaxDB". Currently if you want to get a WebAS 6.40 for ABAP and Java your only chance is to order the SAP NetWeaver Testdrive from http://www.sap.com/linux. It is for free.

Do you guys kow if there is any plan to have the test drive version available for Windows platform?

For now, installing on Linux is not an option for me...
