Assign Company COde to Customer Master Data

Dear All,

I have creadted a Cistomer Master Data (xd01) but while creating I missed putting hte company code. Whereas I have mentioned the SORG, Dicst Ch and Div. Now when I see the customer master data (XD02) for changing, the company code data button is disabled and also when I put the company code in the initial XD02 screen the system shows "The customer does not exists for the company code". Now how do I assign compnay code to this customer. Please suggest rectification.

hey Experts,

I just happened to solve the problem. I was just trying things out as the way we extend the customer to a sales area, i could do it in the same way.

Hi,

Try creating the customer master using the tcode:FD01.

For the Same customer.Put the created customer in reference and mainatin the comapny code:
