Hi,
My client has 8 holidays p/a .These holidays they alloted to the employees, in Christmas day only christian has to take holiday.and in ramjaan,muslims has to take that holiday. and on dasara hindhus only eligible to take leave so how i configure this requirement.If any one knows tell me the configurations.

There are many approachs to solve that,
Create n calendars and n work schedules (n = amount of religions)
Create a customthe holiday class and use them in absence counting rule
Use infotype 2003 for those specific holiday days, update this infotype anually with a batch input for example, and make the exceptions for each employee based on its religion.

my client is following "-ve" Time recording.is it possible in -ve time recording? if possible to give one optional religion holiday to Christian,Muslim,Hindu tell me how to configure. I don't want to give comp of that particular holiday.
on Christmas day only christians eligible to take that holiday.remaining others they has to work.
on Ramjan day only muslims eligibility to take that holiday.remaining others they has to work on that day
like way on Dasara hindhus only eligible to take holiday.remaining others they has to work on that day.

HI,
A. Maintain employee religion information in personal data infotype.
B. While configuring holidays specify religion e.g. Ramzan for that religion is Muslim.
C. Insert all holidays in holiday calendar.
D. Generate Workschedule.
E. Check in planned working infotype, work schedule spcified holidays are inserted as per religion
