How to use 2Dimensional String Arrays in WebDynpro?

Can someone please let me know how to pass a 2D String array to a WebDynpro method? While trying to assign the type of the passed parameter, I couldn't find any data type that corresponds to 2D Array.

    If you manually put the method in the predefined user coding area named "others", you can use any signature you want. Example:

    //@@begin others
private void method(String[][] data)
{
  // ...
}
//@@end
