HI BW guru's.
Iam executing a zreport in BEX, which is showing up all the vales that are there in the cube, except one master data attribute. when I check in master data contents it is having the values in it. But in the BEX all the values for the column shows upo as "ERROR".
can any one explain me what went wrong and what needs to be done in order to display the values of the master data in the query.
Thanks in Advance,
Dilse...

Here are some ideas:
1. Activate the master data by right clicking on the InfoObject.
2. If the characteristic is a unit or a currency, the value needs to be maintained in the global settings.
3. Check RSRV for the attribute to find any database inconsistencies.
Best regards
Dirk

HI Dirk,
Thanks for the prompt reply. Here the Master data attribute which I refered is a key figure <b>0valstckqty</b> - stock quantity, an active info object. I checked in rsrv, no inconsistencies found. when I check the conents in the cube, it is showing the values, but when I execute the BEX query it ends up in shwoing error in the entire column.
So, I think the problem lies with the BEX query, what do you think, any idea?
Thanks in advance,

HI Pals,
Thanks Siggi and Dirk, I ahve checked both the options which you ahve suggested. But still the could not overcome.
As to our earlier mails I have checked that data is available for 0base_uom.
I shall explain my problem once again so that you have a clear cut idea.
When I am executing a material master data query, the quantity of valuated stock ( 0VALSTCKQTY ) field in the report is showing as an error.
This field 0VALSTCKQTY is a key figure attribute to ZMAT_ACC ( Master data infoobject ). All the values of 0VALSTCKQTY are populated in BW but I am not sure why these values are not displaying in the report and all the values in the report shows an error. Currently I am investigating on this why its happening. This is very important to proceed further.
Thanks in advance,

Hmmm, sounds a little far-fetched, but maybe it's an issue with the Units :
go to RSA1, Source Systems, right-click on your R/3 source system, choose 'transfer global settings' and transfer the 'units of measurement' again.
Then try your query again (be sure to log on, log off from BEx first)

Hello BW Gurus,
Problem:
I too have the same issue with my queries, but my queries are budget income statements and only the revenue lines display "ERROR" after the values.
Specs:
The key figure being used here is based on 0CURRENCY. We also utilize a currency conversion at a particular budget rate (user defined). When I run the query, I select USD as the target currency. Only the revenue lines are affected.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Nani
