Purnachander,

Is anybody having Step-by-step materials or books available?

For configuration guides for all the major business processes, try Best Practices

Also some good stuff in BP for Solution Management if you have an S number

Hello,

I started to learn SCM DP/SNP without any knowledge of BW

As replied by Hari, it denpends on what do you want to use -- DP, SNP, PPDS, GATP, ICH, ...?

DP is more relevant to R/3 demand management, like PP-DEM, PP-SOP, LO-LIS-PLN.

SNP/PPDS is more relevant to R/3 production planning, like PP-MRP ...

Your R/3 knowledge is definately useful here, but to understand some concepts of SCM, maybe it's better to attend some sessions, since the materials may not be easy to understand.

Purnachander,

SAP SCM is a vast area comprising of many modules within it like DP, SNP, PPDS, GATP, TPVS....

With your existing background, you can start with SNP/PPDS , you don't have to know lot of BW / BI for that. However if you are planning to learn DP, then having some BI knowledge certainly helps.

Hope this helps
