Release strategy for Schedule Agreement

Hi

What is the steps involved for the Release strategy for Schedule Agreement.

Does the release lines affect by the release strategy and does it required to relase in normal practise ?

Currently I have P.O release strategy in place but not for SA

HI

You have to create a different release strategy for SA.

the process will be same. you can use the same characteristics.

you will have to create a new characteristics for document category (BSTYP).

The value of this characteristic for PO will be F.

The value of this characteristic for PO will be L.

Thanks for responce

But I am using ZEKKO_BSART (Document type) instead the order category.

Since, do i still need to do one round of seperate config for SA.

or else additon of the order type # LP in the exitsting ZEKKO_BSART charac values will do

Also SA release will affect the item release ?

What is the procedure ?

create a new release strategy for the scheduling agreement and link the characteristics you wish along with the values for those characteristics. this will hold good for you.

You can use the same Zfield.

you will have to add the value for SA document category.
