how to get rid of the /irj on my website

Dear SDN,

I am running ep, IIS proxy and ITS. I am using the iIS proxy module to redirect my external users to the portal, which is behind the DMZ. Here is a silly question, what method can I use to make my website not need the /irj at the end. I have tried using a redirect in IIS, no luck. I have also tried the new-prefix option in the iisProxy.xml file.
