Fire Portal Event to another User

Hi there,

is it possible to send a PortalEvent to a certain portal user ?

I would like to send a message from one User / WD-Application in the EP6.0 to another User / WD-Application in the portal.

Sounds like a task for workflow rather then just portal.

I have almost no expirience with ABAP workflow, but you can post certain event to user with it, and this event could be shown in portal via Universal Worklist.

Hi Valery,

good idea with the Universal Worklist, but i would like to

establish something like a direkt connection between to portal users, e.g. an instant message exchange, without the "heavy" workflow.

I don't know if the API is documented, sorry... (I don't think so, seems one must have his decompiler at hand...)
