Transport request number

Hi Guys ,

I have 3 transport request numbers .2 are changes related to 0material which is at table level .Changes in transaction code osml .The next one is change to the structure of 0material .Please let me know the sequence in which i need to transaport thr request number .

if omaterial structure is dependency in omsl t-code changes, the first use following sequence

omaterial

omsl changes

structure of 0material

Hi Guys ,

Thanks for your reply .I have one last question .Do i need to delete the data from 0material before transferring the changes ?If thats so this 0 material is used in lot of structures and i need to delete the data from other structures which are using 0material .

Please give me ur suggestions

hi,

You will need to delete data only in cases where you are removing some attributes or decreasing length etc.

You can transport your changes.

You don't need to delete the data from 0Material,if you have not removed any fields from the existing structure.

merge changes to 0material into one req and send it. OMSL changes are independent and could be sent before or after.

First your table level changes should go and after that you can send structural changes.

Hi,

First send the changes with repect to tcode.

And next send the strctural changes to material
