Fully Qualified Host Name for XI Repository etc?

Hi everybody!

How do I get XI 3.0 to generate a URL for the IB:Repository and Directory, for example, with a fully qualified host name, instead of just http://sap2:50000/? I already implemented Note 773830, but it hasn't helped. Any ideas?

Hi Francis,

You can change them in the exchange profiles, under "connections"

Go from the integration builder to administration and choose there Exchange Profiles.

Can we also change the property values elsewhere (i.e. via exchange_profile.xml)?

That is the beauty of XI...

Put an entry in your laptop or desktop pc

with the hostname and FQD...

IP hostname FQD name

Then it should show up...
