1.

IS it possible to generate payroll if infotype 0007 is not maintained for the full month?

say: payroll period - 01st May 2011 to 31st May 2011.

The part time employee say workschedule PART1 was resigned on 25.04.2011 and his IT0007 is delimited to

the leaving date (01.04.2011 - 25.04.2011 - PART1), when they hire him again on 06th May, they have

created new entry in IT0007 (06.05.2011 - 31.12.9999 - FULL1 )

When simulating payroll for May2011, Im getting error'No work schdule rule PART1 on 01.05.2011'

2.

Is it possible to cancel the Off-cycle payroll results without deleting it from PU01 ??

Thanks!

As said in the above messages, IT 7 has Time constant 1. One record has to be present at all the time for this infotype for the employee

You can reverse/void the results.

Please note the Time constraint of IT7 is 1, no gap and overlappings are allowed.

yes tts right.

do we need to set 'Partial PEriod Parameters' for the above scenario 1?

It means, delimit cann't be possible of IT7.

Hope you understand now.

hey its delimiting correctly and tts not the problem. ( user maintain it7 manually and asking why they need to maintain It7 for inactive withdrawn periods ?

my Q is do we need to maintain It7 for inactive period as well?

Yeah, in your case you are re-hiring employee so you have to maintain all infotypes which Time constraint is 1. There should not be any gap.

Regds,
