How to find material assigned to release strategy?

Hey folks,

Wanted to know if we can find the material assigned with the release strategy?. Because it says item 00010 not covered with the release strategy.

I am currently using a standard IDES system and material 100-100.

please check your release strategy in CL24n.

then check the details of PO item number 10 for all the characteristics maintained in CL24n

if the values maintained in PO does not match with any of the release strategy customised PO does not require release.

i want to know whether your release strategy is for PR or PO?

If it is for PO, release strategy is appliacble only for header level not item level that means we can't set release strategy for item release. we can only set over all document. This is my understanding...

If it is for PR, we can set the release strategy for item level and also header level...

First you have to create your characteristc for your item by using the CEBAN table.

the corresponding field name of te item is EMATNR and you have to assign your char., to your class which is you already created and then you follow the same proceedure in SPRO.

If your material is subjected in to release procedure, definitly the above field is in your char.. please check it...

Pl. go to CL24N (for PR ), and CL20N (for PO) & check whether the Classification Staus is 1 or not.

Pl. make it 1.

Check if Class is already open in some transaction. Even if it comes then logout and login again.
