Hi,
Which is the best way to upgrade MaxDb from 7.6.00 to 7.6.06.10?
Do I have to make a backup, uninstall the old version, install the new version and restore the backup?
Is there any way to backup only the database parameters?

Hi Danial,
I had upgraded from 7.7.04.28 to 7.8.02.23 few days ago. It took only 10 mins.
Pre-requiste:
1.Take the full backup of DB.
2.Backup of the older version software media.
start the upgrade.with the below command
./SDBUPD -d DB_Name -u control,password
I will advice to upgrade to 7.8 to avoid any known bugs in maxdb.
