DELTA Collector not collecting

Former Member

Hi,

I have this problem now about our DELTA Collector for data sources 2LIS_13_VDITM and 2LIS_03_BF. In our DEV R/3, the DELTA Collector collects DELTAS which can be seen on RSA7. However, in our QA Server (an exact replica of the live server) despite that the jobs (DELTA Collector) is running and fires every hour and people are doing their transactions, 0 is displayed in RSA7 for the corresponding data source...

Please help,

Hy

I hope this can help you. As far as I understood, you got entry in LBWQ, then you run the jobs form LBWE to clean LBWQ and no entry in RSA7. if that go to SMQ1, (qrfc Monitor) and check the destination of your queue name.

For example:

queue name Destination

BW0102LIS_13_VDITM QW1-080 (the BW system).

If you see more than one entry for 2lis_13_vditm, delete the wrong one. That happen specially with sisyem copy.

Hi Mike,

I executed TCODE SMQ1 but I could not find any 2LIS_13_VDITM. I only find MCEX13, MCEX02, MCEX03 with destination : NONE but they do have numeric values in column ENTRIES > 0.

What must I do?

Hi Jkyle,

for all your doubts, please refer to OSS Note 380078 'FAQ BW delta queue (RSA7) Questions and answers' in which you can find all the answers to your questions...

however, in SMQ1 you have to check for corresponding FM (MCEX13 for Appl.Num. 13, billing) and not for datasource name...however refer to the first questions in OSS note before-mentioned !

Hope it helps...

Hy

Please run program in BW RSSM_OLTP_INIT_DELTA_UPDATE

and create your entry for 2LIS_13_VDITM. Check table Roosprmsc in R/3 system.

Hi Mike,

This program is new to me. But before I run it, can I know what it does, whats the purpose and can I run it while users are actively transacting in R/3?

Thanks in advance...
