BPM scenario

Hi all,

I have a rather interesting scenario where I am receiving payroll information from various countries in a single flat file. I need to check based on country code in the file and see if there is a complete record. If there is incomplete information in the records of the file the message should pass into SAP but a notification need to be sent indicating incomplete information on that record and should not post that record into SAP whereas all other valid records of the file should get posted.

Does this call for a BPM scenario with alert notifications or is there a better way to do it?? The basic scneario would be File -

> XI---> SAP. But XI should be able to do the checking on the flat file and check for incomplete records and send notifications.

Any suggestions guys....

    Hi Teresa,

    You can use a BPM Scenario, but i thing it will be more simply to check the messages in a XSLT Mapping.

    So you can map error text in the Message.
