Hi,
in "SAP Business One SDK 2004 UI API" exists a reference to sample "UIDIBasicApp".
But I can't find it in installation directory.
All the other samples are available.
Any ideas or similar samples?
Thank you!
Regards,
Peter
Hi Peter,
This sample will be installed when you run the "SDK" installer from the SDK CD. If you ask me where to get it, I can only give you this official answer:
"The Development Version has to be ordered from SAP and will be shipped on a separate CD. For that please contact your local SAP representative. Currently also updates will be handled through the local SAP organization. This is planned to be replaced through a download process very soon."
HTH,
Frank

Hi Frank,
I used the Installation CD Version 2004A (6.70.185) and I installed the SDK.
Below a copy of all subfolders in the install dir.
My question: Why is UIDIBasicApp sample missing?
This sample seems interesting, because of the mixed use of UI und DI interface.

Peter

After a few sequences of installing/uninstalling ... I capitulate!
I can't find this sample on my hard disk. My sample folder contains only "COM UI" and "Utility Projects", althroug I executed the "SBODIAPIsetup.exe".
In the meantime I found an analogue sample code
"Complete Exemple of UDO in this Post", from Sébastien Danober with messageID=215176.
It would be helpful, if anybody copies the UIDIBasicApp Sample in the same way.
Thanks a lot!
Peter
On the installation CD of SAP Business One, you will only find the so called "Implementation Version" of the SDK. I.e. SDK documentation + samples only for UI API.
If your company signed a SDK Development contract, you can also get the SDK development CD currently.
Maybe this will change soon, but still you are not entitled to use DI API without that contract. Doing this will violate your partner contract.
When compatibility license ends you will not be able to connect to DI APIs company object without SDK development license or an appropriate solution license.
Please check-out the ramp-up knowledge transfer session on SAP Service Marketplace regarding this topic.
In addition, it makes no sense to post the sample in the forum as it consists of a bunchfull of files. I propose that you check whether or not you have SDK development license and ask your partner manager - or wait until the information is available by donwload.
Regards,
Frank
