Automatic placement for multiple quant in storage bin

Hi SAP guru's

Is there a method where SAP will automatically place a material ( different quant ) to a storage bin that is currently occupied?

I know there is a mixed storage check within the storage type setting but is that to allow manually allocation only?

I'm currently using strategy "I" with mixed storage and Addition Stock checked. With cap check "4".

Is there any other setting im currently missing hence it is not working in my case?

you need to make use of addition to stock strategy for your storage type in whcih the addition to stock needs to take place
