Item Category in Sales

Hello all,

Please i need help, is there a item category that allows for billing without doing the delivery process. My client carries out services and they bill their customers imediately after creating the sales orders.

Hi,

Billing Type is controlled by:

1. Billing Relevance Indicator to be maintained in Item Category: Maintain the Billing Relevance Indicator as 'B' Relevant for order related billing - status acc. to order qty in Item category TAD (Service Item).

2. Maintain Order-Related Billing Type F1 in Sales Order Typ OR.

Next, Assign Sales Ord Typ OR + Item Category Grp YBEP, HLevItCat TAN for ItemCat Detrn.

Kindly check and update on the same.

Item category = TAD (Service)

to see its details check VOV7

You may have to assign this item category in your Sales document type (e.g. OR), this you can do in VOV4.

To test, create a sales order, invoice (without delivery)

Thanks for all your reply. i used item category TAD, but it still did not work. let me point out that my item category group is YBEP. Does it affect it?

Hi,

In item category configuration you can select " B " Relevant for order-related billing - status acc.to order qty" in the Billing Relevance field.
