Hello there!
I've got a query where characteristics are displayed as hierarchy. Now, when i view the query in browser and i don't drill down to the deepest level and switch to bar chart, it doesn't show the grahics and displays a message, "Data Provider does not contain any data".
Is this a standard behavior? If yes, why so; otherwise, where have i gone wrong?
Thanks and Best Regards,
DKA.
The question is whether you want the bar chart to change as you navigate? , you could have a template with a separate dataprovider for the chart and get the chart. and I am not sure why you would want to give the web query link to others rather than design a template for the same.

Hi,
Maybe you use a display hierarchy in your query. In query designer, right click on 'Columns' or 'Rows', disable 'display as a hierarchy' and try again. You might want to filter your query before generating the chart.
hope, that helps...
