Hello,
in transaction SPROXY only some SW component versions are visible (not only local ones but others from the SLD as well). Others are not.
The connection to the SLD is correct (according to transaction SLDCHECK). The RFC connections LCRSAPRFC and SAPSLDAPI are set up correctly as well.
What has to be done in order to see the SW component version?
Thanks,
Henrik
Hi,
I think it depends on the fact if a SWCV has SAP as vendor: these are only visible in your system (where you start SPROXY) if the system has these SWCV assigned in SLD.

Hello Boris,
I assigned SW product and SWCV to technical system and business system. Even after importing and updating the components in the Integration Rep. as well as refreshing the list in SPROXY I was NOT able to see the SWCV in SPROXY.
Afterwards I created another SWCV with a vendor <> SAP.com and everything worked immediatly.
Thanks a lot,
Henrik
Hi Henrik,
assuming you are on a Backend with WebAS 6.40: SPROXY has documentation (use the i-button), showing the following hint (see below). If that doesn't help, I have no further idea.
**************************
"Displayed Software Component Versions (SWCV)
If a SWCV that you have created in the SLD is not displayed in the navigation tree of the transaction SPROXY, note the following:
The following applies:
For SAP components (vendor = 'sap.com'):
Only those software component versions that are installed in this system are offered (see table CVERS or the system status and then choose Details for the software component version).
For non-SAP components (vendor is not 'sap.com'):
All components are offered."
**************************
Regards
Boris

Hi Boris,
I see ... it's not sufficient only to register SAP.com SW products and SWCV in the SLD for a certain system. They 'really' have to be installed (by means of creating entries in CVERS, adding the DDIC objects and whatever might be necessary).
Well, in that case I prefer to create a SLD product with a different vendor (since it is only for educational purposes).
Thanks again,
Henrik
Hi Henrik,
In Transaction SPROXY you see only the SW Component version that already in the repository.
Not all Version from SLD.
You must first import the Version to Integration Repository.

Robin
