BEx analyzer Dialog Process does not termiate

Dear All

When we run the report in BEx Analyzer, if we give improper selection, (e.g. 10 years i Time variable ) , then excel gets busy

and stops responding. At the same time, There is work process created to fetch the data.

If we kill the Excel Window, then also Work process shows still occupied and need to be killed. This way , we can have performance issue on system.

Is there any solution to this problem ?

Suggest populating the time variables using the 'User Exit' option. With this method when the report is executed it will be executed for a given period Ex: for the last 3 years, for the last 2 years etc.,
