Quotation to sales order process

Hi.

I have a requirement to restrict the value of sales order to the same of quotation when a sales order is created with reference to Quotation.

Please confirm as the quotation will have approval process and an approved amount should be followed in sales order too.

Hi,

You can set status profile in Quotation document and can control the quantity in Copy control as well as using variable message.

Once the amount has been approved you can write a user exit to control no further changes in Sales order.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply but my quest is that I want to restrict the value that means if i have made quotation of Rs.100 for a material for one qty. When I make sales order for the quotation I should be able to change the material and quantity but the value should not exceed Rs. 100.

Hai Kanchan,

Try creating Value contract.

In standard SAP for a particular customer for a period . for material value is fixed.

Create sales order with reference to Value contract.

Make approval process at contract level.
