ST03 - significant changes in some values

Hi gurus,

from one day to another, we have in ST03 some valuses about 4 times more (number of steps, GUI time, trips) - compared to recent days/months. Affected all TC (VA01), all users - no changes - same numbers of users, Any ideas ?

Hello,

There can be different factors for this increase in values like backup running on that particular day or really users are accessing or working with more data. To know why there are drastic changes in the values you have to do complete analysis with the system like

Any job running during this period?

Any maintenance activity at OS level performed?

Increase in the transaction by users? (Even same number of users could access more data for business needs)

Load from any external system(SAP or Non-SAP) connected with this SAP system?

These are few factors which I am listing. However based on your system there can be more areas that you should analyse to know the reason
