Getting Budget error at the time of MB1A transaction..

Hi,

When executing transaction MB1A for goods issue against Network activity user getting budget error as

"Item 123 Network Activity xyz budget exceeded "

1.79 Crore Released budget is available in the WBS in current Fiscal Year.

And material cost is just Rs. 17 Lack.

I have checked table BPVJ1, Released budget is updated in this table still getting the budget error.

Please provide the solution.

Check the tolerance Limit for your Budget profile.

Hi Archana,

As our friends suggested all the possible senarios. I request you to kindly check also whether Person responsible is assigned to that respective WBS or not, because even through budget is allocated and released, and in your budget tolorence limit you have set option 2 that is warning with email, system will be looking for the person responsible to that wbs to send the email, if it is missing also system will throw same error that budget is exceeded.

reasons

1. Check tolorence limits

2. person responsible for the respective WBS

3. re-construct the budget availability control.

4. This is not a suggested to do but, if it is stopping your process deactivate the budget availability with tcode:CJBW and after completing your transaction you can activate it back by CJBV( note: this is not a good practice)

am agree with kishore, even am suggesting for deactivation by cjbw and after passing entries you can again activate by cjbv.

or check through status management.which will help you to find the details of your budget status whether it is released or not.........

After executing CJBN Transaction user is now able to Post document in MB1A. Issue is resolved now.

Yes! I have checked in S_ALR_87013558 report also. Overall available budget is 1.79 Crore.

hi,

S_ALR_87013558 report gives budget and not budget release. Pl check if budget has been releaed or not. If yes then check whether it has been distributed to its chield WBS's or what.

Budget is released and its distributed to child WBS . Released Budget is updated in table also.

just check report S_ALR_87013560 for current & release budget. Check amount for annual and overall.

Checked current and released budget in S_ALR_87013560 report its showing 1.79 Crore amount .

Anual and overall amount is also 1.79 Crore.

try reconstructing availability control by using CJBN & project info database by using CJEN transactions.

also share error message no what your getting.
