Hello,
does anybody know how I can change the color of the Tachometer Cockpit (not the stripes, the 3 background sections)? You can choose this chart type over the wizard, but I don't want the colors red, yellow & green.
Kind regards,
Barbara
Hello Jens,
thanks for your fast answer. I tested it, but I think you misunderstood me.
There (wizard) is a chart type named "Tachometer Cockpit 1" (a partition of tachometer), which has 3 ranges of colors (not the background of the hole chart, not the stripes & not the category). And these colors I want to change.
Maybe there is a possibilty to fill the room (with a color) between 2 categories, it would be the same result!?
Any idea?
Kind regards.
Barbara

Hi Barbara,
assuming you are using BW 3.5 (would be nice to mention, as charts changed here) this is not possible with the wizard you need to go to the chart designer (in the wizard click on the button chart designer).
In the overview tab you will find the entry axis and inside Gridline. Click it open. You will find 3 value ranges (green yellow red). You can add or delete value ranges as well as changing the settings for them (for example the color can be found in Area properties -> Color).
Hope this helps.
Heike
Many Thanks!!!

Hi Barbara,
choose the tacho chart type over the wizard.
Click on the background section you want to change (for example the red color) and the section is selected.
Choose from the context menu "format value range..." and assign the color you want to see...
You can doubleclick the section, too, to change the color and the value ranges.
