image on sap easy access

Hello Guru,

I'm facing a strange problem, i'm running on ERP 6.0 Ehp5 / Netweaver 7.02 and when i try to change the picture on right side of the easy access menu it won't work.

I used to do it so i don't get it, i have done it few days ago on Ehp4 / NW 7.01 and it work fine.

Did you already faced that thing ?

Hi Ruter,

I faced the same issue on ERP 6.0 NW 7.02, fixed it with Note 1664254 - Company logo not displayed immediately when logging on.

Hi,

To put your company logo in the right-hand side of the

initial screen:

Put your picture in the database with the transaction SMW0

"Binary data" options, e.g. in ".GIF" format.

Put a record with the picture name in the key "START_IMAGE"

of the table SSM_CUST in the View maintenance transaction

SM30.

You can adjust the picture to the window size automatically

or center it in the right-hand side of the initial screen

("RESIZE_IMAGE" "YES" or "NO" in the table SSM_CUST).

You can deactivate the picture globally so that noone sees

it with "HIDE_START_IMAGE" "YES" in the table SSM_CUST.

User-specific picture display settings are then ignored.

Please try this above options i think it will solve the problem,Please let me know

This must be simple but check Extras -> Settings -> "Do not display Screen"

Can you please check the following SAP note...

Note 1387086 - HTML viewer in SAP Easy Access screen

In version 5.1 and above the system property value has changed.

See the latest SAP note..

Hi,

Check to ensure the object name Z* doesn't exist at the first place. try change to ZLOGO123 and etc.

Initially i thought EHP5 @ NW7 EHP2 gave us the problem but found out that's not the case.

Which procedure you follow to upload the image?

Please follow the steps..I have same environment like you and i successfully uploaded.. Hope this will help you...

T.code : SMWO

"X - Binary data for WebRFC application "

<Enter>

< Execute>

Go to Settings-Maintain MIME types

Click " Create"

Type : image/gif EXTENSION:.GIF , " SAVE"

Go to Binary data for WEBRFC , < Create>

Obj.name : Z<name>.GIF Description: Company Logo

" Import" .Specify the path name where your .GIF file locatd.

< Transfer>

Your logo must br shown in the Binary data for WEBRFC

Now go to the t.code SM30- Go to " Table/ VIew- SSM_CUST

< Maintain> < New Entries>

The entries should be like below..

Name Value to be set

START_IMAGE Z<name>.GIF

RESIZE_IMAGE NO

Now log off and log in. You can see the logo in the right hand side of the SAP screen.
