Web Services and Proxy

I'm trying to implement a web service client that gets its data from a machine that is behind our firewall. The problem is that the portal's proxy server is going outside and trying to come back in. Is there any way to tell the service to not go through the proxy to find the machine. Also sample code would help too. Thanks!

Hi,

You have to set up non-proxy host in your portal installation. This is done throught the service httpservice, available in the content catalogue when logging as admministrator.

Is this found in the WAS or Portal? Also some iviews needs to go through Proxy as well to get outside.

This is in the portal.

Log on with admin rigth in the portal. then

System Administration -> System Configuration -> Service Configuration -> Application -> .....httpService
