SSO not working for specific users accesing OrgChart

I have a strange occurrence using Nakisa OrgChart version 7.0 build 0700052200. Users who have a usrid of 5 characters where the fifth character is an "O" cannot access the org chart from teh portal using SSO. They get an error that "Login Failed. Either you are trying to access the application outside of portal. Or the Portal issued ticket is rejected or expired."

This only happens to the 15 people who have userids like this. We created some dummy portal id's like XXXXO and XXXXX and only the one with the "O" failed. In the logs, the backend user is "X" and the portal user is "SUGEB" instead of "SUGEO". The dummy account shows up as XXXXB.

SAP Support had us deploy the latest version last week which we did and the problem persists. They now want us to run a diagtool but we don't have it installed and our Basis team is slammed right now. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Dale Lewis

    Hi Dale,

This is most peculiar! Do you have any other applications using SAP JCo and Single Sign-on in your Portal?

It's hard to say what the source of this is. Have you tried debugging the RFC_REPORT function module when a user logs in?

I would persist with SAP support here - there's a problem either with the application, SAP JCo or with the Portal.

    Best regards,

    Luke

    Hi experts,

I'm faced with the exact same issue : if user name is ending by "O", Nakisa doesn't recognize it.

I'm using Succession Planning V3.0 SP2, last available build and OrgChart V1.1.

A SAP note has been opened but I get no solution for the moment.

Dale : Did you finally solve you problem ? How ? Did SAP provide an OSS Note ?

Dale/Luke : How can I check the SSO method; base64 vs MYSAPSSOEXT ?

    Thanks for your help.

    K.
