Hello,
I am following the SAP Netweaver for Real World series, where can I download the XI Server, in order to complete the tutorial number 3?
Thanks a lot,
Arelly
Arelly,
short answer: you cannot.
There is no sneak preview on XI, as we do not provide one.
Regards,
Benny

Dear Benny,
thanks for your answer. I have another question, do you think that with the sneak version of the WebAS 6.0 could I implement the exercises of the book:
Web Programming with the SAP Web Application Server

Hi Arelly,
the keyword on this is ABAP. There currently is no ABAP download on SDN, the servers you can download here are Java only. Therefore this does not work either.
Nevertheless, there are some older versions available on CD you can order in SAPshop.
For details please ask in the ABAP section of the forum.
Regards,
Benny
Hi Benny,
I think your right. The ABAP Stack is not available through SDN. But...
Hi Arelly,
there is a good blog from DJ Adams (/people/dj.adams/blog/2004/03/19/was-640-testdrive-for-linux-is-here) where you can find a discussion on a full blown WAS 6.40 for Linux containing also the ABAB stack.
It is available for download under ftp://ftp.sap.com/pub/linuxlab/test_drive/
Take a look! It is the most comprehensive trial version I know so far.
Best regards,
Volker.
