Archiving messages

Hi,

I have a business scenario using a File/FTP adapter to transfer files on a daily basis and posting into SAP. Is there a possiblity to archive the files in XI and pick them up again incase of a re-post into SAP..?? If so how is it possiblity to archive them and use them again in case of need?

Is it a case of creating a business sceanrio and using them?

    Hi Teresa,

    When you using XI 3.0 your Scenario is Possible.

    With a Business Process you can Cache Messages on XI.

    You also can use ABAP proxy to write the messages into a table.

    Hi Teresa,

    You could also use the archive option in the sender file adapter configuration to automatically archive the files to a specific location. So you are always able to copy the file to the outbound directory so XI can pick it up again!
