Time management-due to absence quotas

Hi,

any one tell me the solution to this ticket .I have configured CL,EL,Un paid Leaves and i generated Work schedule rule.I assigned deduction rule to counting class but when i am giving lives to employee it shows error.

i.e No Deduction rule for attendance/absence. cl on 04.04.20011 for personnel no 0070904. Is there any Configuration has to do

    Step1: Create Deduction rules...

    Step2: Create Counting rules

    Step3: Assign Deduction rule to Counting Rule (while creating the Counting rule)

    Step4: Assign the Counting rule to Absence type.

    I think you are missing step 4. You can do this in: IMG > Time Management > Time Data Recording and Administration > Absences > Absence Catalog > Absence Counting > Assign Counting Rules to Absence Types

    See if this works...

      If you try to create an absenec that exceeds the quota, then you will get this message. Try hitting F1 or double clicking the error and you will see what I mean..

      In example... if you have 6 hrs or quota and you try to record 8 hrs of Absence (that deduct the quota) then you will get this error.

      This error message is driven by the config for Absence Quota. Your absence quota hs either not allowed to go into negative or if you have allowed to go into negative, you are trying to exceed the negative limit.

      You can verify that in: Time Management > Time Data Recording and Administration > Managing Time Accounts Using Attendance/Absence Quotas > Time Quota Types > Define Absence Quota Types

      The field is: Neg. ded. to under the Deduction box

    I have created Absence Quota type PL ( Privilege Leave )

    1.

    I want to take a persons working into account for determining his absence quota. Say for 24 days he gets 3 PLs.

    For that I know i Have to put these condition in Generate Rules - Accrual Entitlement . But I dont understand how to configure the reduction rule for this.

    2.

    Also i Want the total entitlement to be give to the employee at begining of the yr and only to Regular employees how do I do that .
