hai all,
i have modified the master data in the master data table for a particular material, sales organization and distribution channel.
after this to activate this master data i have run the attribute/hierarchy change run for the 0material infoobject.
now when i am checking data for the infocube which has this material as infocube i am not finding the new master data for the attributes of 0material, but i am finding the attributes with old master data.
even in the bex reporting i am finding the same.
can anybody pls help me on this topic.
Hi,
did you check, if you are reporting on the correct fields?
If your cube contains some characteristics that are also navigational attributes of some others, you need to make sure, that, in your case, you are reporting on the navigational attributes.
Hope this helps!

Siggi

HAI SIGGI,
yes i am reporting the correct fields.
i checked what u have advised, i am sure that they are not the navigational attributes of some other characteristics.
still this is the problem we r facing, the modified master data of 0material is not getting in the report.
we r still getting the old data.
please advise.
we did all the activities, like attribute/hierarchy change run.etc
thanx in adv
You should first check if the change run was successful. Look for any logs you may find. Next you may want to check table /BI0/PMATERIAL to see if there are any entries with OBJVERS <> 'A'. If they are the change run did not work properly. Try to do another change run (there might have been only some locks) and if the problem persists do an OSS message.
Best regards
Dirk
