Unable to Send IDOC from R/3 to XI 3.0 using Idoc Adapter

Hello All,

We are trying to send a DEBMAS IDOC from SAP R/3 46B to XI 3.O using IDOC Adapter.We configured the required RFC Destinations of the R/3 and the Business Systems in XI.We were also able to connect to R/3 using Integration Repository and were able to import IDOC metadata.

We created communication channels in Integration Directory and when we are testing the same it throws an error saying "No service for system SAPS70, client 800 in Integration Directory Message no. SR 053".

Please advice what needs to be done to correct the error?

otherwise are there any Docs we can look into..

HI Saravana,

As you suggested we were able to send the Idoc by specifying the client as 100 in RFC Destination of the sender.

But we were unable to view the Idoc in IDX5 of XI Client 020.

We were able to view the Idoc in WE02 transaction of IS Client 100.Also it is throwing an error with error message "External segment name E2KNA1M004 cannot be interpreted Message no. EA258 "

Please help us !!!!

Hi Saravana,

Thanks for the Info.We changed the refdestination client to 100(IS Client) from 020 (XI Client).It is working fine now.

Ravi , ve a look at the url, has a quick chk list fr the config steps involved -"/people/saravanakumar.kuppusamy2/blog/2005/01/20/configuration-tips-for-a-business-serviceintegration-process-to-send-back-ale-audit-idoc .

If am rite, i beleive the client specified in RFC dest in your R/3 should be 100(IS client).chk that out.
