Hi,

Please check the Note 609332 Composite note: ORA-12541/ORA-12224.

If this does not help, please analyse the listener.log for further analysis.

$ORACLE_HOME/network/log/listener.log.

Aidan

Hi Aidan

Thank you very much for your reply.

I went through all the related notes provided by you. However, the entries in tnsnames.ora and listener.ora are identical and listener.log is also not having any error even R3trans -x is also returning with 0 error code.Kindly let me know where else can i find the cause of the error.

Thanks in Advance

Mahesh

Hi,

You could check whether you can start

up the listener manually (as <sid>adm) with the following command-line:

\oracle\SID\102\lsnrctl start

This should also create the missing Listener Service.

Carefully check for common reasons for ORA-12560 as per

note # 441518.

Hi Aidan

As per your reply i am able to start Listener properly without any problem as <sid>adm user. However the sqlnet.log file carries the error message which i posted earlier in this thread.Kindly suggest the further action.

Hi,

Please check note 562403 and execute the four tests in item 15.

With these results, you can troubleshoot your issue using the

information of this note.

I would like to suggest you take a full check on the enviroment

variables of your <sid>adm user and make sure that it use the right

directory when starting the listener.

Has the environment variable SAPSYSTEMNAME set correctly in the

environment of SIDADM?

Please also check if the database parameters were set correctly as per

Note 830576.

Aidan
